including the spotlight award of the night, Influencer of the Year!

All sit-UP delegates are invited to come along to a gathering that’s bound to pack a
punch (or a beer if you prefer...). Let’s wrap up this day in style!

The evening

The inaugural sit-UP comes to a climax with our after-party and awards show. Time to make those
vital final contacts of the day, discuss what you’ve learned, or simply have a good old natter
about life. There will be drinks, food, and awards a plenty. No one will feel they’re going home empty
handed – with this party, we will make sure everyone’s a winner!

sit-UP's awards will be decided upon by our pool of senior decision-makers from across the
industry, comprising industry executives, marketing and PR professionals, journalists,
commentators and more. Each judge will only be assigned one category and will have no direct
connection with their allotted category.

Like many Australians, Stuart had a love of travelling the world from an early age that eventually led to him pursuing a career in the industry, representing international hotel brands in Australasia before he relocated to London six years ago. He then joined Rooster PR where he headed up a team who managed a client portfolio that includes airlines, tourism boards, hotel & resort brands, transport operators and online travel companies. In 2017, he acted as the project manager for the launch China Airlines in the UK, overseeing PR, advertising and digital/social strategies. In June 2018, Stuart joined Tourism Australia as PR Manager, UK & Northern Europe.

Whilst running the PR and Influencer programme back in 2012, Emma started to examine the metrics that were being used to report on activity, and how relevant they were in demonstrating impact on the organisational goals. Since then, she has transformed the way that influencer marketing is evaluated at VisitBritain / VisitEngland, which has resulted in a better understanding across the business of the impact that successful activity can have , as well as championing integration as part of a marketing planning process.
